Is The Withdrawal Bleeding Pattern Normal After Taking Meprate?

I had a D&C for endometrial thickness - came back as Simple hyperplasia and polyp (Polyp removed). I have been taking Meprate for the last 3 months. After the 10 day consumption of Meprate, my withdrawal bleed is heavy and long. The first cycle was awful - almost 7 day heavy bleed, the second one started slow 3 day light bleed and 4 day heavy bleed, the third cycle with 5 day light bleed and 2 day heavy bleed before tapering off. Is this normal withdrawal bleeding pattern? My cycles have always been light 5 day ones and went through this procedure for a missed period and spotting. I am 43+ old.
