Is There A Chance Of Me Being Pregnant By Having Unprotected Sex ?
i had menstration last january 5 and my period always last for 5days i had unprotected sex on the 9th and we did it again on 16th-18th without using a condom. is there a big chance i ll get pregnant?

hi welcome to health care magic.yes there is high chance at time of ovulatory periods which is 14 to 19 which having normal cycle.and as you said you do sex on 16 to 18 which is your ovulatory period having high chance of pregnancy.

If your period started on 5th then 15th-18th are among your fertile days and having unprotected sex during those days has made you prone to getting pregnant. You can confirm it by doing the pregnancy test when your periods are at least 4-5 days overdue

16-18 is our unsafe period and you had sexual exposure at that time without any protection so there is high risk of pregnancy. The pregnancy can be confirmed by a urine pregnancy test only after 1 week after she misses her period. For this, a urine pregnancy kit can be purchased from the pharmacy and an early morning urine sample should be used for this.
If you want to get it confirmed earlier, get a serum beta hCG done 2 days before she misses her period. A level >10 mIU/ml is suggestive of pregnancy.
Consult your gynecologist for further opinion.
