Is There A Chance Of Pregnancy After Getting Periods?

On Oct. 10, my boyfriend and I did not have intercourse because we did not have a condom. However, there was genital rubbing involved on/around my vagina and his tip might have entered but only for a few seconds if that. He did not ejaculate throughout the entire night. I got my period six days later. What are the chances of being pregnant?

Hello and thank you for the question.

The chances of being pregnant are zero. For pregnancy to occur, there needs to be vaginal penetration and ejaculation into the vagina. While I understand your concerns, the fact that these things did not occur means that you cannot be pregnant. Also, the fact that you got your period as expected is also indicative of no pregnancy. Given the question, I would recommend that you talk to your doctor about birth control options.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
