Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy, which can cause irregular vaginal bleeding. However, irregular spotting can also be because of local lesions in cervix or vagina including cervical, hormonal disturbances, or any uterine pathology. I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test, if negative then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
