Is There A Chance Of Pregnancy Test To Be Negative?

I am Yi Sin, 18 years old and I've been taking 6 tablets of Postinor 2 in the past month, I've missed my period for a week now and pregnancy tests show positive. but I experience no symptoms of pregnancy. Could it be a mistake in the tests? Does postinor 2 affect pregnancy tests?

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Pregnancy symptoms are not necessary to be experienced .

2) If urine pregnancy test shows positive, you are likely to be pregnant.

3) Postinor tablets are unlikely to interfere in the test.

4) Please get serum beta hCG blood test done to confirm pregnancy.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
