Is There A Need Of Taking Tetanus After A Cut Through The Vein?

I feel back putting my hand out and fell on a old nail... It went in at the base of my palm.. right at a vein. Blood everywhere.. I applied pressure, held my hand above my heart and all is fine now.. Do I need a Tetanus shot asap or can I wait until monday?
