Is There A Problem If I Am Severely Congested During Pregnancy With Some Blood In Urine ?

Hi I am currently pregnant 29 weeks and I have been severely congested. This morning while I was peeing I decided to blow my nose and felt a sharp pain or pop as I was peeing. When I wiped myself I saw some blood in my urine and all day anytime I pee it hurts. Should I worry and see my doctor right away?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Nasal congestion is not an issue at all, as it is normal. I am not sure what the pop was that you experienced, but if it was followed by vaginal bleeding then I would recommend a visit to the doctor ma'am.

Although this might not be anything serious, your symptoms and the sequence of events amount to something that requires investigation and is not straight forward pathological. Please visit your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
