Is There A Relation Between Diabetes And Burning Sensation?
I was a diabetic and about 8 mths. ago I received a gastric bypass surgery. Since then, I have lost 70 lbs and no longer take metformin. However, in the last month; I have noticed a rapid rise in my blood sugar within 15 minutes of eating or even taking my vitamins. My sugar will rise quickly to the upper 200's and I get heart palpitations as well as anxiety feelings (rapid breathing). Yesterday, I had a burning sensation deep in my thigh (almost like a burning bruise), however, no marks are visable. Today, the burning bruise feeling is spreading up the outer side of my thigh and is sore to touch. It almost has a raw feeling to it. Any suggestions?
