Is There A Risk Getting Bruised Knot When On Blood Thinners?

My daughter has been in blood thinners for years... She fell this evening riding her bike and handle bar got her on the tummy above her hip. Already bruised with a pea size knot. Should I be concerned? How would I know when to take her to doctor if it's still bleeding?

Hi,
Taking blood thinner medicine for years might be having bleeding tendency from any part of the body, particularly when there is injury in any part.
Consult your doctor and go for PT (prothrombin time ) to know INR.
Go to ER and get examined.
Ok and take care.
