Is There A Treatment To Help A Deaf And Dumb Person To Hear And Speak?

Hi Doctor, I want to ask you that is there any treatment for deaf & dumb people. My cousin sister is deaf & Dumb since birth and she is 30 years old now. We had taken many kind of treatments since birth for her but everytime doctor s said that she can t be cured. Is there any treatment that even be able to hear or speak.

I can understand the plight your sister and your family must be gong through.
With the advent of newer techniques, it is possible that they can hear and speak too.
This is called a ''cochlear implant''. With proper evaluation, Surgery to do Cochlear Implant and proper rehabilitation , your sister will be hearing as well as can be speaking.
