Is There An Alternative Drug To Dilitazem HCL Used For Congestive Heart And Liver Kidney Conditions?

Hi, I am female, 92 years old with conjestive heart conditions and liver kidney conditions. I am taking Diltiazem cap 120mg cd, once daily, plus many other drugs. However, the drug copay has changed from $6 to $45 as of Jan 2014. My insurance has let me know this information and suggested Diltiazem HCL or Verapaamil HCL with doctors review. My doc has told me these alternatives would require taking them three or four times daily with daily monitoring. So did not feel the extra work worth the money savings. So, wondering if there are any other options for this drug?
