Is There Any Alternative Solution For A Boil On My Scrotum Other Than Performing Surgery?

I have a boil on the left side of my scrotum. I went to see a doctor and he suggested that we went to open but I said no is there an alternative route he said they will be a hundred percent curable if we were to open versus trying to use only antibiotics. Is it possible to cure the Boil without putting my scrotum in danger by being cut open or losing my whole scrotum sack due to the infection I just really want to avoid being cut on and needles going into my scrotum.. please help me get through this

Hi. It is not clear from your question whether the boil is on the scrotum skin or inside ( i hope this is not a hydrocele). If the boil is only a few days old it can very well be tried to get OK with antibiotics and supportive medicines. If it is more than 4 days old and throbbing with red skin, it is better to open by surgery as the skin from scrotum is different than from other parts of body.. Take a proper decision as per this advice.
