yes, there are chances of u getting diabetes..all that matters to you now is at what age u might get it..and that depends upon your lifestyle and diet..be aware that diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol cannot be treated but only controlled..so quit smoking and eat healthy foods..make sure u exercise and maintain your body weight..take all necessary precautions to prevent diabetes like taking care of all wounds, getting your sugar levels checked every six months..monitor your sugar,B.P and cholesterol..cos even if u get one of these, the other two would also come later..follow a strict diabetic diet..god bless
Hi
There is nothing like preventive medicine for sugar and as a rule though there are high chances but not a must. Have balanced diet and be regular with your exercise . To raise the immunity is the core prevention formula. This can be achieved with giloya and fenugreek seeds.

There is more chance of hereditary factor for diabetes but no way to control the hereditary factor. The only way is balanced diet and exercise. Preventive purpose you can start taking balanced calorie diet and continue exercise habit. if you had gain weight reduce fat. Do yoga and pranayams. You can start to take like karela for maintaining you insulin level.
take care

Hi,
welcome to the healthcare magic ,
Having strong family history have an impact on this ,but we in homeopathy do believe that this history effects your genetical mapping/coding ,its in your blood to get affected with dabetes in near course of time but solely depends on the environmental factors, your diet and lifestyle ,your dealing with the stress factor etc .
we group this kind of cases in 'diathesis" segment and have special plan of treatment for them.
Do your regular exercises .
Follow your diet and regimen as if you have diabetes.
avoid stress as far as possible.
avoid smoking.
try to reduce weight.
adapt healthy lifestyle.
Thanks !
