Is There Any Chances Of Recovery For A Bedridden Person, With Swollen Body And Having Congestive Heart Failure?

my 72 year old fiancé has congestive heart failure. he can no longer do anything and is in bed 24/7. He cannot talk anything but a breathy garble, is in diapers and is totslly swollen but has lost a lot ofr weight on the torso. He can no longer walk and refuses hospital although he did go to a doctor. His son refuses to let me see him. He is getting worse instead of better in that he is now immobilized by his condition. I doubt he eats much. I think he may die soon but could he possible recover by taking the meds the doctor gave him? I am heartbroken. Please help.

Hello
I am so sorry to learn about him. Though the situation seems worrying, it is definitely possible to get better if he takes medicines. Why does he refuses hospitalization? I think it would be very very helpful. You can persuade his son to let you meet him. May be he would relent.
God Bless
