Is There Any Connection Between Strokes And Heart Diseases And Are They Genetic?

I m wondering how much there is to a family claim that we have a curse of heart problems. All have died. Our grandfather had a heart attack in his 80 s, Grandmother, mainly strokes, brother 1: diabetes, heart attack, brother 2: diabetes, heart attack, Brother 3: some minor strokes, hear attacks, blood pressure, artery problems, Mother: many strokes and high cholestrol. Not sure if the heart attacks are genetic or opportunistic. What is the relationship to strokes and the heart?

Hi, stroke and cardiac disease share common risk factors like diabetes, obesity, hypertension etc. hence for both are possible with combination of risk factors. patients with cardiac disease can develop clots in heart which can dislodge to brain resulting in stroke. last, the tendency to both-heriditory. i suggest you to keep habits healthy and exersise regularly.
