Is There Any Diet Restriction While Taking Anti Rabies Injections?

Dear Doctor, I was bitten by a street dog on Jan 13 2016 while going to the office but no blood was shed due to the bite there was only a scar on two places thanks to my denim jeans. I immediately took the anti rabies injection and was adviced by the doctor a three dose. I finished my zero day dose 3,6 day doses are remaining. Can I eat non veg and sweets pr should I regulate my food habits untill some days or weeks

Hi & Welcome.
There are no dietary restrictions during the course of anti-rabies vaccination. The presently used anti-rabies vaccines are safe and do not require any diet precautions to be taken.
Regarding alcohol & its beverages like beer, whisky, etc do not interact with anti rabies vaccination at all. But you should keep the amount of alcohol intake to a moderate level only so that if at all you contact rabies, the symptoms will be easy to diagnose. The symptoms of too much drinking can mimic the symptoms of mental issues when rabies hits your system: confusion, agitation, anxiety, muscle issues. It would be difficult to tell if your symptoms are from the alcohol or from the exposure to rabies.
Beside, alcohol can suppress your immunity.
So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol or its beverages as mentioned above.
You can eat any healthy, clean food (vegan & non-vegan) including sweets as you eat regularly.
Please continue taking complete dose of vaccine as recommended by your doctor on days 3, 7, 14 & 30.
