Hi,i have been married for 3 years since 11 months we trying fGror kids.I got semen analysis done.Could you please tell me is it normal?

Apperance - grey opaque

Total Ejaculation - 70 milliion
Total Motility - 55%
Morphology -
Normal - 08%
Abnormal 92%
Head defects - 36%
Neck & mid piece - 38%
Total defect - 18%
Leucocytes - occasional
Cell debris - present
Epithelial - cells - occasional
Agglutination - present

Thanks for writing to HCM
Your semen analysis report suggests infection with excess abnormal sperms.
Infection is indicated by occasional presence of leukocytes in semen.Normally there shouldn't be any leukocytes in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigation like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.
At least 16 %Sperms should have normal morphology.
Antiestrogens should be prescribed for abnormal morphology
If normal morphology is persistently low,then you may need assisted method fertilization like intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Other findings like sperm count,motility are within normal limit.
55 % motility of sperms is acceptable.
