Is There Any Doctor Available To Analyse This Report?
Hi i had a chest exray and am a survivor of poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma with a malignant fistula,,,,the chest xray stated there is a small faint nodule on the R midlung and it could represent confluent rib and vascular shadows although a small parenchymal nodule is possible it said also that the lungs are mildly hyper aerated can you shed light on what could be wrong ,,,,thank you Michelle
The nodule is a small rounded opacity of diameter 3 mm approximately. In your report it is not confirmed if there is a nodule and speculation exists. To make sure, as you are a cancer survivor, I suggest you get a CT scan chest done and discuss it with your doctor. As pointed out, the possibility of a false positive nodular appearance of normal vessel persists.
