My son is in Dubai , 16 years, he did sonography- report 3mm calculus in mide pole, blood report - creatine serum eGFR 194.622 - He is feeling Tirdness, dull and some pain on his back. Can you doctor suggest me. thanks in Advance - Prem

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

There appears to be a 3 mm stone in the mid portion of kidney (side not mentioned) and this should not be a worry as the calculus is small and can get dissolved or come out by increasing water intake. He must drink adequate amounts of water and pass urine frequently. He can also take alkasol to dilute the urine.
