Increased liver echotexture refers to an increase in the fat content of the liver. Fatty liver is graded as from I to III. You might be having a mild fatty liver if not mentioned. This can be due to increased intake of fatty foods, alcohol intake or due to any familial or other digestive problem including liver infections. Doing LFT (liver function tests) will give a possible idea as to how is the liver functioning and it may even be normal.
