Is There Any Doctor Available To Interpret This Report?

Hello,
I went for my complete ultrasound at 23 weeks and received my results that the cerebral ventricles were in the upper range of normal measuring at 8.7mm. They would like me to go back for another ultrasound in 4 weeks to ensure stability. Should I be worried?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You shouldn't worry at all.
Prominent lateral ventricles is a common finding in this gestational age.In most the cases it will be normal with progression of pregnancy.
You are rightly advised for follow up scan after 4 weeks. This is the right protocol to follow.
Hope i have answered your query.

Take Care
