Is There Any Home Remedy To Treat Ochronosis?

Hi doctor, is there home remedy to treat oshronosis? i am seeing a Demotologist. He has given me ointment, which a retine and4 percent hydroconine to use on the affected area of my cheek area and nose. i have dark pigmentation on my face and nose and mouth area.

Hi.
As per your case-history you are having facial hyperpigmentation.
My treatment advice-
1. Avoid Sun-exposure. Use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Avoid using other cosmetics like scrubs and face-wash.
3. Stop hydroquinone cream - it causes exogenous ochronosis.
4. Using a kojic acid cream twice daily on dark area for 4 weeks.

Consult a dermatologist for further treatment based on result.
