Is There Any Possibility Of Pregnancy As I Am Having Abdominal Cramps?
Hi dr, Iam unmarried but engaged. I get regular periods of 28 - 30 days since years. My dates for the month was due on Dec 29,2014. Me and my partner had some intimate moments when I met him on Dec 22nd , 2014 but no intercourse. Now I my dates are due as on January 7th 2014 ( 10 days ). I met a Gynac on 5 jan , 2014 and she has prescribed Meprate 5mg for 5 days. I also did urine test twice ( on 5th & 7th Jan ) but was negative. My course on meprate will get completed in next two days. still there is no symptom of menstrual flow. Iam getting slight abdominal cramps in and out...Now Iam worried whether Iam pregnant. Request for your kind advice..Iam too tensed. Also I travel a lot. However in Past I have never got a delayed cycle due to this reason.
Based on the provided information, I do not see where and when you indulged in sexual intercourse. This in itself reduces the chances of pregnancy.
The cause for you delayed periods could very well be a hormonal imbalance and so you should visit your doctor to find the cause for the same. Stress can also cause an irregular menstrual cycle, so stop stressing.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
