Is There Any Problem For Late Period After Taking Birth Control Pills?

I was scheduled to get my period on the 19th, however I was prescribed a new brand of birth control pills on the 20th (seasonique) I started taking the pills the day I got them (the 20th). Is this safe? I am not bleeding at all or having any spotting, which is good for me, but is that good for my body?

Hello,

Delay and irregularities in menstrual cycle are expected while you are on birth control pills. It will normalize eventually. There is nothing to be worried about.

Hope this answers your question
