Is There Any Problem For Lower Placenta During Pregnancy?

am carrying, now its passed 20 weeks, had fouy ultra sound scan at my 18th week and found low lying placenta reaching OS. cervix length is 3.6 cm, doctor advised to take rest, is there any serious problem if the placenta found lower side at this stage. i would appreciate if i get a quick answer for my query. pls advise if any precautions are taken care.

Hi...don't worry... During early pregnancy placenta may be low lying... But as the pregnancy progress the placenta may shift upwards...so take rest as your advised..get done repeat scan done after 3 months...report doctor if bleeding is there..
