Is There Any Remedy To Stop The Itching Of Renal Area Which Is More After Bowel Movement?
I,m an 65 year old male.I have had rectal itching for years now. Have used every thing possible to stop the itch.It bothers me even more now after each bowel movement, and when sitting in my big comfortable chair at home all the time, and when sleeping at night. Every thing I use only sudsides the itching for an short time. I,m at the end of my straw now.I,m honestly thinking about surgery. Would like your advise what to do.

I read your query and understood your concern about the itching in your rectal area.
It seems like a case of worm infection to me. Talk to your physician and get oral antibiotic like metronidazole prescribed. Only a couple of doses might do the trick for you
Take oral anti allergics meanwhile like cetrizine/ loratadine for immediate relief.
Also get checked with your dermatologist in case there is any dermatitis like /fungal lesion in the intertriginous area between your buttocks.

It seems that you may be having pruritus ani. There may be some cause. It may be candidosis,fissure,haemorrhoides,worm infestations,internal causes,psychologic factors..etc you consults dermatologist for firm diagnosis. After investigations he may come to some conclusion. Thereafter, he may prescribe antihistaminics, antipsychotic, steroids..etc .Local application of antifungal or combined antifungal with mild steroids may be helpful. Sitz bath in dettol containing water may improve the condition. I hope you got my answer.
