hello doctor, i plan IUI my Dr suggest ovaa shield in 3rd day . i got follicle in 12th day scan in size of 2.4cm, my Dr told folicle size is too big in 12th day, she do some rupturing injuction, 14th day egg was ruptured but my weight is incereased 2kg in a day . ple tell me any side effect in rupturing injuction or ovaa shield tablet in my weight gain
The weight gain may be due to ova shield or the injection. The follicle was big and injections caused its rupture and also a high in the hormone levels. This lead to the weight gain. It is called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. It may resolve by itself but may progress before going to the resolution phase. Next symptoms if it progresses include abdominal distension, bloating, shortness of breath, palpitations and many more. Please see your doctor and check if you need supportive treatment. Admission may also be needed in a small number of cases.
