Is There Any Threat Of Recurring Stroke Post Treatment For Acute Infarct In Brain?

My uncle aged 56 suffered from acute non hemorrahgic infarct in right inferior cerebellam , right inferior cerebellar peduncle, right half of medula. Ischemic/chronic microangiopathic changes in preventricular white matter. and now after 2 months he is being fed on RT . There is no disability but he has lost balance to stand and walk. He is little emotional angry. He has now slurred speech. He is breathing normaly but can not eat from mouth. I want to know if there is any threat in future of any complication or second stroke? if yes then why there is possiblity of second stroke? recently he suffered from urinary infection but has overcome after medication.
