Is There Any Treatment Needed For Frequent Urination?
Hi, i am 24 yrs old, female, unmarried,ht-5'4'', wt- 57kgs.The reason for consulting for a suggestion is.. i pass urine for every half an hr... the amount of urine passage will be equal to the amount of water intake. Is there any problem with me.... passing urine for every half n hr is good or bad???
Passing of urine in every half an hour should be considered as the increased frequency of micturition. The possible causes are: -Physiological causes like increased water intake, cold climate, etc. -Pathological causes like urinary tract infection, dysfunction of the kidney, etc.
The general factors that can help you are try to restrict the water intake for around 3 liters per day, and try to pass urine in every 2-3 hours. If these measures are not helping, better to consult your physician once, get examined and go for investigations like ultrasound, urine routine and microscopy, urine culture and sensitivity and renal function tests.
With this work up the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
