Is There Anything To Stop Hair Loss From Continuing And Deteriorating My Nails ?

Hi, I have alopecia universalis in less than a year loss all my hair, head., body face etc I am losing my nails what can I do? I am male, 27 years old is there anything to stop it from continuing and deteriorating my nails ?

Thanks for query...,
ALOPECIA UNIVERSALIS...
means...absence of hairs in eye brows, eyelashes, beard region...,
including Scalp,pubic and axilla...,
Usually hairs will reappear within 2months time......,
it could be depend on Patients....health status, habits, age, other medication...,
Treatment is ...1) Reassurance
2) Improve general health with diet and tonics..,
3) Levamisole 150 mg....weekly for 6 weeks..,
4) Steroid creams like Flucort...,
5) LOcal infiltration of Triamcinolone is beneficiallll...
In my clinic we treated more cases and get good respond.....
hence don't depress....consult good dermatologist...o.k good luck...,

There is no standard treatment for alopecia universalis. Many treatments have been explored, including immunomodulatory agents 

Alopecia Universalis may be acute and short-lived or remain permanently. Regrowth is always a possibility, even for those with 100% hair loss over many years. However, it is not possible to predict when regrowth will occur

To stop falling of hairs and nails, apart from therapeutic treatment you also can consider healthy, nutricious food intake. Do not experiment with different hair oils and shampoos. Use only which is suotable to you.....
For regrowth it may happen by its own many a times. Otherwise usually no medicine has good success rate, though many medicines are recommended.
