Is There Anyway You Can Make Him Feel Better With Some Medical Advise
Hi my name is Justin and based in Chennai, India. My brother Quentin has Colon Cancer (Cancer in the Rectum). He initially was being treated for piles and then recently when the Doctor done a colonoscopy he confirmed it being cancer. He has started radiation (20 short sittings) chemo (4 sittings before surgery ) and the Doc said he has to undergo surgery in April 2010. He has good appetite and quite active but the problem is that he is worried. Is there anyway you can make him feel better with some medical advise that this is not life threatening as long as he takes the treatment as suggested by the doctor. I'll appreciate it. I could print your message and take it to him so that he feels better and continues what the doc has advised.

Oh colon cancer is a condition which requires agressive treatment. So let him go on with it and later he shall recover to most possible extent and there wont be any problem. He shall be able to improvise.

Quentin seems to have a locally advanced CA Rectum for which he is recieving chemoradiotherapy before surgery. This treatment is accepted all over the world as the chances of cancer getting back after surgery reduces to half as against doing surgery first. CA rectum is a well treatable condition and he should get better with the treatment soon. In case you need to know more about the kind of surgery and the options available you can mail the reports to me.

I think Ist or IInd stage of Clonic cancer ...it is quite curable with...,
effective Radiotherapy with chemotheerapy....Localised
surgery is advisable...if surgery means ...it is quite littleproblem...,
So cooprarate her ..,definetly you can get rid off fromthis problem very soon..o.k..,
