Is There Interaction Between Biotin And Depo-Provera?

I was recommended Bition 10000mcg by a friend who is a hairdresser as I am trying to grow my hair as well hoping that it will strengthen my nails as they are very weak and break often. Will taking this high a dosage affect the depo provera shot as I have been on this for around 7 months and do not want to change contraceptive methods?

Hi,

There is no documented evidence of any harmful interactions between the given drugs. You may continue taking high dose Biotin while on Depo-Provera as it does not affect its contraceptive action as well.
