Is There Interaction Between Hydromorphone And Tramadol?

it says I cannot takehydromorphone 2mg because I took a Tramadol acet37.5mg an hour ago and still having a lot of pain. What do you thing? YYYY@YYYY Last night I was in the hospital the had to open a very bad cut that was infected on my heal (part of a foot) APPARENTLY I was lucky it did not touch the tendon

Hello,

Hydromorphone and tramadol, both contain an opioid drug which is a very strong pain killer. Because both these drugs are in the same class, it is not needed to use both but one or the other. This will prevent side effects and also will reduce the chance of poisoning or overdose.
