Is There Possibility For Recreating A Drug?

Today a classmate of mine told me about a program called i-doser. from what i have found on the internet it is a program that recreates the effects of drugs by emitting binaural beats (binaural brainwaves). while I am not really interested in doing the drug (and i do mean that) i was curious of how something such as a drug can be recreated by a sound, or is this a placebo? while my classmate who told me about this seemed convinced that it was safe, i am skeptical that it could be if it's recreating drug use.
any answers are appreciated

Hello
This is basically a scam, but there is probably a large amount of the placebo effect where, if one thinks it will work it will.

Perhaps it can induce a relaxation state that relieves anxiety and worry, but it certainly can't stimulate the neuroreceptors in the brain the way that abused drugs do
