Is There Risk In Sky Diving Due To Stent Placed In RCA?

I m 51 years old and considered to be a healthy female. When I was 39 I had a stent placed (RCA). My cholesterol levels are fantastic! My daughters would like me to skydive with them. My concern is that the excitement +/or adrenaline levels would increase for a person without coronary artery disease. I work out at the gym, ride bike and consider myself to be strong and am of normal weight. Is there risk in sky diving?

Brief:
There shouldn't be any problem according to your history and description.

Detailed:

Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM.

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

My name is Dr Muhammad Ahmad & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.

According to your history and the fact that you are doing great since 12 years leading a good lifestyle and working out in my opinion you shouldn't be having any issues if you go for it, you can take a beta blocker one hour before it , this will keep your heart beat in check, keep your clopidogrel , aspirin and nitroglycerin pills which you just in case you need them and that seems to be a remote possibility.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health
