Is There Side Effect From Taking Primolut N For Heavy And Painful Periods?

Hi DR. I am a 25 yr old female and i have just experienced a very heavy and painful menstruation.Went to see my GP and she prescribed Primolut N, the bleeding stop in a day or two but the problem now is that i am experiencing minor abdominal pains, could this be a problem and would the treatment cause any problems if and when i want to cnceive in the near fure?
