Is There Something Wrong With My Epiglottis?

I am constantly swallowing the wrong way. Whether I am eating or drinking, or just doing nothing and my own saliva goes down my windpipe, causing me to cough and cough until it clears. It is very annoying and happens as many as a few times each day. What s wrong with me? Is there something wrong with my epiglottis?

you should get yourself checked out by an ENT specialist it could be due to loss of a natural gag reflex.
