Is This A UTI?

For the past couple of days I have noticed that my urine has been cloudy and has an unusual smell. i have also been having cramps in my lower abdomen almost like early labor pains. could this be a uti or maybe something more serious?

Possibility of UTI is right as there is cloudiness of urine, it could be mainly due to accumalation of white blood cells in the urine or even pus cells as a result of urinary infection. The infection could be either in the urethra, bladder or even the kidneys.
