Is This Dosage Of Metroprolol Tartrate Safe Instead Of Metoprolol Succinate?

I currently take 25mg of Metoprolol succ ER once a day... my doctor isnt answering the pharmacys request to rene w the refill and now im out. My wife also takes the same drug but its metroprolol tart 25mg so its the faster acting version... is it okay to split that pill and take twice a day to simmulate the 25mg ER until my cardiologist returns my calls?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I would say that it does not make any different because active molecule is the matter of concern and not the pharmaceutical manufacturing presentation so need not worry about this and you can continue the some form of medicine hope this information helps.
