Is Throbbing In The Ear Due To Sneezing And Runny Nose?
My ear has been pumping or throbbing, but when my doctor looked into it she said it was fine and that she could not see anything. It does not ache and I am not running a fever. My allergies have returned with lots of sneezing and a slight runny nose. What could be causing the ear problem?
Hello I have gone through your question and I understand your concern well. People with allergies usually undergo these kind of symptoms. As you told you have sneezing and runny nose that means there is some kind of nasal mucosa irritation and congestion which must be even affecting your eustachian tube opening ( tube which connects middle Ear cavity to Nasopharynx) Due to which it is producing ear problem. There is nothing to worry As your allergic symptoms subside your ear problems will also subside simultaneously. For the time being you can use some nasal decongestants and take steam. It will relieve your symptoms. Hope I answered your query well. Thanks for trusting us for your health issue.
