Today I felt a ticklish feeling in my vaginal region, had a frequent urge to urinate, and pelvic pain. I had unprotected sex last week and am worried it may be an std. However I'm on birth control and expected to get my period next week and am not sure if its pms symptoms

Hi,
Tickling and frequent urge to urinate might be due to a urinary tract infection. If your symptoms increase, please get urine culture done and take necessary antibiotics. You must also drink lots of water and visit wash room frequently.
