Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if tingling in the face, cheek and mouth a symptom of sore throat which could be due to streptococcus infection or infection of upper respiratory tract.Tha symptoms can also occur due to migraine of facial nerve dysfunction. I would suggest you to avoid eating spicy and heavy food. Maintain hygiene rinsing with antimicrobial mouth wash. You should take combination of levocetrizine along with amoxicillin for 3-5 days. Milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric taken at bedtime will be helpful for you. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should go for blood and sputum test. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Do warm saline gargles several times a day. Doctor may also refer you to neurologist.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
