Is Tingling In The Front Part Of The Teeth, Nose And Head A Cause For Concern?

I was sitting down blowing my nose, then stood up immediately after that and felt tingling and numbness in the frount parts of my teeth,nose and head. Though the day before I had a bloody nose due to my allergies. Is this anything I should be concerned about and contact my doctor for an appointment?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tingling in the front part of the teeth, nose and head a cause for concern because of nerve impingement or pressure on facial nerve which can lead to facial paralysis. Need not to worry . Visit neurologist once and get it examined to rule out nerve compression , neuralgia or other conditions like neuropathy. Go for physical therapy of facial muscles. Avoid opening mouth extreme wide while jawing. If it is not due to nerve and due to dental infection then consult dentist once and get it examined. Doctor may prescribe OPG of .It could be related to stroke. Neurotropic medication such as nerve supplement , methylcobalamin is effective to improve your symptoms. Sometimes sinus infection can also cause such symptoms .In case of sinusitis consult ENT specialist and take steam several times a day .
