Is Tingling Sensation In Hand Related To High Blood Pressure?

I have had a tingling sensation in my left arm and hand. Also just checked my blood pressure about an hour ago and it was high 171/80 something. I had been on visibility, but ran out of meds have not been able to get back for refill. Is the tingling related?

hi.

noted history of tingling sensation and high blood pressure. it is best if you go to the nearest emergency room now and have a doctor clinically assess you. cerebral and myocardial infarction must be ruled-out. admission is advised for observation if there will be persistence or progression of symptoms. your blood pressure must also be lowered and a maintenance medication will be recommended. diagnostics (such as ct-scan, ECG, blood tests) and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
