Hello,

Streptococcal or viral pharygitis is spread through droplets or direct contact. First 3-4 days more contagious than later. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. If no improvement, please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
