Is Toothache With Swollen, Red And Sore Cheek A Cause For Concern?

I have had a tooth that has had pain when I tap it then I started to get a swollen cheek on my left side of my upper cheekbone and under the cheekbone I rubbed the area and it was very sore and now it is all red and still throbs terrible what can this be

Hi,
It seems that there might be having developing apical abscess due to having bad carious tooth producing infection, cellulitis, induration and abscess.
You might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine for 5 days.
After infection subsides then go for dental treatment of your affected tooth as advise by dentist.
