Is Treatment Required After Analyzing The X Ray Result?

The results of my husband's X-ray is this, consider bilateral upper lobe ptb, activity undetermined. kindly correlate. What does it mean? Will this affect his medical exam for his immigration spousal sponsorship? Does he still needs treatment or medication for this?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
'Activity undermined' on X-ray chest suggests that there is no evidence of active tuberculosis on X-ray chest.
Follow up of tuberculosis is required to assess the progression of disease.
If there is any evidence of infection, further investigations like sputum examination is needed to look for recurrence of tuberculosis.
Your X-ray suggests that the tubercular infection is not active.
A history of tuberculosis or any evidence of tubercular infection in the past can cause problem in immigration especially to developed countries.

Thanks and take care
