General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Your tryglyceride levels are high. Tonact TG (atorvastatin) is some times not tolerable in that case you need to stop the medication and immediately consult your physician / cardiologist .They might want to get a liver funtion test and a creatinine phosphokinase test and give you different line of cholestrol lowering medications.
Also you need to do diet control. Eat more of fibres and almonds, walnuts and less of carbohydrates and fats. Also exercise regularly. This is very effective in lowering tryglycerides.
Hope your query was answered.
Regards,
Dr.Riyanka
