Is Turmeric Safe To Take Daily While On Cholesterol Treatment?

Good afternoon, I am taking Tumeric twice a day (each 500 mg capsules) I have recently added this to my intake. I have also heard about using it in your daily food as an added spice. Can you OD on Tumeric? I am being treated for high blood pressure & high cholesterol. I am taking Turmeric to help relieve arthritis pain.

There are no interactions
Turmeric's purifying properties have suggested benefits such as lowered cholesterol and lowered blood pressure, probably something to do with the way turmeric functions in your blood.
