Is Ulnar Osteotomy Advisable For TFCC Tear?

im a medical colz student from india
i completed my mbbs degree last may
unfortunately i met with a road accident last feb 8 th and my radius got fractured with galezzia # dislocation of ulna
my doctor operated with DCP radius plating but im having ulnar prominence at wrist and ulnar sided pain now,
doctor said there might be TFCC tear, he advised me for ulnar osteotomy
so my question is Can i go for TFCC repair or ulnar shortening osteotomy ?
whether i get relief of ulnar sided pain after osteotomy ?
how can i avoid weakness after osteotomy ?
